My long locks whisper in the Florida breeze. The skunk apes are breeding, and their smell carries into the developments where the clean, washed, scrubbed down people live, in their pink, yellow and teal pretty houses. Latino Literacy! Read, read, and read!

Here I lay in repose. Weekends are the best. I was going to dip into our emergency funds and raid the Barnes and Nobles for reading material when.....zappo. A big box of books arrived at my front door. International Latino Book Awards selected me as a judge for non-fiction books, and I have slightly less than a dozen books to peruse. So many books...I'll find the time:) I am excited to read them and find the ones most worthy of recognition.
